Hi,I been trying to find some nice looking tattoos with asian art "style" and it seems to be hard.Anyone know a nice site with pictures etc?Not sure about art, try looking up japanese tattoos, I think they're the most photographed, but stay away from asian letters. My girlfriend, who is Korean, can read chinese characters, like most east asians can. She told me that chinese characters depend on the context for meaning, and that by themselves they almost never mean what you think they do. To white people they look cool, but alot of times they look ridiculous to people who can read the languageSo true. I saw a guy with a kanji tattoo on his neck once - thought he was hardcore. The tattoo was 耳 (ear).Quote:Originally Posted by BafucinHi,I been trying to find some nice looking tattoos with asian art "style" and it seems to be hard.Anyone know a nice site with pictures etc?Just use Google Image or Flickr to search Japanese Tattoo's and I'm sure some great designs will pop up. Also search for tattoo artists around the world who specialize in them and check out their pages for some great tattoo's.I have a decent collection of tatted women but the specific nature of your request prooved to be more difficult to address than I would have thought. I may have more in my archive but here is what I had readily accessable.I have asian tatto from borneo art...see it broI want to get one as well but my problem is finding the kanji for BankaiI dont have any tattoos, though the artwork on some Yakuza is great and I would recommend that. Though its best not to get a kanji character, as asians who look at Western people with Kanji tattoos, think of them as kind of weird, I mean you dont see many Asians with Kanji tattoos..looks cool!Nice ones.
