As a connisseur of U-15 movies I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the U-15 forum, but it also applies to AV movies too, so I guess this'll do.Is it just me, or are many movies here heavily over-exposed? It doesn't seem to matter if they're direct downloads, torrents, avi, mkv, vob or anything else; almost every movies I've downloaded from here requires some intense fiddling with contrast and brightness levels to make it viewable.I thought maybe it was my old monitor, but I recently bought a shiny new LG screen and normal DVD's, browsing and games all look fine; it's only when i play something from Japan that the contrast and brightness need tweaking.Is it just me?Maybe your graphics card settings? I don't have this kind of problem in any Japanese movie downloaded here, as far as I can remember.I usually play in the laptop or external monitor, and the bright/contrast levels are fine.Sometimes the only way to avoid having the model's face cloaked in shadows is to make the background a curtain of white. That's what happens when you don't have a budget or time for lighting.never ever had any problems with any/[if not all] movies i watch on my comp... that includes JAV and other craps too... my comp is my personal cinema...and my settings are all mostly defaults...(aside from my monitor brightness at 100% and contrast at 50% which i believe was also default)---------------------------------------------recommend you check your video card video playback settings... and/or monitor...
