I own more games for my DS now than I do for my XBox and Wii combined -- and I've had my XBox since December 2001 whereas I've only had my DS since November 2006. I know a lot of people prefer 3D games, but I feel like so much developer time has to be wasted ... err, "spent" on making the graphics look sexy that it means that much less time can be spent on creating a quality game with great replay value, great story, etc. It's almost like the simpler DS games with their SNES and N64-like graphics wind up being better (to me, anyway) in spite of their graphical inferiority.If you speak Japanese, I definitely recommend importing the newest version of the Shonen Jump fighter series for DS. So much fun. o_o My friend's dad went to Japan and brought home a copy for his kids but they can't read Japanese and they got frustrated with the game and threw it down early. But if you can read basic Japanese, it's a blast. If you use flash carts, I suggest giving it a try just to see if you like it or not -- you'll know pretty early on. It's definitely "the Super Smash Bros. of the DS" thanks to the novelty of playing as your favorite SJ characters.I enjoy my NDS occasionally, i'm not a hardcore avid gamer. I do own the NDS, along with a R4 card. Good for games i can't purchase, like ones straight from japan [super robot wars etc].uhmh i was thinking of geting a DS cant deside wut color to get it in though, already have a mint green psp
