Separate the real "image videos" from the "almost AV"?

I have only just starting checking out the "IV Torrents 16+" forum, and was disappointed to see that more than half of the material is not in fact "Image Videos" (that's what "IV" stands for) but rather "almost AV" material featuring girls/women who can hardly be classified as "idols". I'm not being a prude here. I just think they should be sorted into different forums. It's frustrating to have to sift through dozens of obscure almost-AV titles in search of actual idol image videos. And people who are looking for almost-AV must also find it frustrating to sift through dozens of "pure" idol IVs.Just my two yen.Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place. Moderators, please feel free to move it if it belongs elsewhere. Thanks.thread moved - post reported so that other mods will notice too. We큞l have to check how we can handle this.I myself am not that experienced in this matter / section to decide whether threads should be moved or not. So please be patient. You've got a point I guess, however if you were to go to a store, the 'almost AV' titles would be mixed in with the so-called 'pure' IV titles. I don't know of anywhere that makes such a logical distinction. If we were to, the only hard-and-fast guideline would be nudity. Everything else is a judgement call. For example, Rin Aoki's pre-AV work didn't include any nudity, but it is certainly in the spirit of the almost-AV titles which include full nudity. And we're not really dealing with 'idols' in the sense of singers and such anyway (If people want momusu or berryz stuff, they're not going to find it here regardless.), we're dealing with gravure idols whose profession is to look good in skimpy clothing or nude.Quote:Originally Posted by chompyYou've got a point I guess, however if you were to go to a store, the 'almost AV' titles would be mixed in with the so-called 'pure' IV titles. I think we could generally rely on the commonsense (?) judgment of the poster. Also, the publisher of the DVD is a good indicator, since most publishers do one or the other. The lack of nudity itself is not a very good indicator, since "chakuero" ("clothed erotica") is now very popular, and often features JAV actresses. It seems there is just a handful of posters contributing most of the content to the forum, and those posters seem to have a preference for one or the other, so a good place to start (assuming a consensus forms and Chompy agrees) might be to PM the almost-AV contributors and ask them to post that stuff either in JAV or possibly in a new "Almost AV/Chakuero" forum. Two more yen.I like your idea. I'd be willing to help move threads if this actually happens.A rule based on nudity might be too narrow. There are lots of chakuero vids that have the nipples and labia just out of sight. I think it would be enough for the staff to name a new subforum ("Almost AV" is pretty descriptive), and move all of the chakuero into it. There are a few edge-cases where one could say "this is an IV and Almost-AV," but for the most part it's simple common sense. Just look at the threads in the two sub-forums and anyone will see the difference.I think the most difficult thing would be some uploading one into the wrong section. While most uploaders are aware of what they're uploading their judgment could possibly slip one way or the other. Mind you we mods could simply move it to the appropriate place. I'm for it for the most part but have to agree with chompy that even in the Video shops they're all just mixed in but there usually is a smooth gradient from the stuff out front to the stuff behind the curtain. It's worth a try if the tags aren't being used enough.desionerWell, it could be like this:Gravure IVChaku-ero / 着エロJAVIt would require a new sub-board, though...
