Hi guys, I'm hoping someone can help me to identify a cartoon I saw on british tv in the eighties or very early nineties. I don't remember much about it anymore but I hope it might ring a bell.Firstly, I remember a girl, the daughter of someone important (maybe a king or someone). Her father is in an arguement with someone else and it looks like he's going to kill the guy. The girl is so upset by things that she takes her father samurai sword and cuts her own throat.Next some kind of angels or something take her away. They bring her back to life and she is reborn from some kind of flower. She has some special powers and can fly (maybe some wings on her ankles?).That's about all I remember. The animation definitely had a japanese feel about it. Could have been drawn in watercolours, was more like a one off film than a series.Cheers for any suggestions
